Rules and Regulations
1. The event is split into three chapters and each chapter will consist of a certain number of levels.The first person to complete all levels will be declared winner.
2. Answers for all levels must be entered in the text boxes provided and in the absence of such text boxes , you are free to explore and discover other ways of progressing to the next level.
3. All answers must be entered in LOWERCASE letters and without any spaces if there are multiple words in the answer.
4. The answer may consist of numb3rs , $ymbol$ and anything else that may exist on a standard keyboard.
5. Clues which will help you in solving the level might be hidden anywhere in the page.This includes the clichéd technique of hiding clues in the source code.For those who aren't familiar with this , View->Source will provide you with the source code of the page.
7. All levels will contain some scripts for statistics gathering and you can safely assume that no clues would be present here.
8. Certain levels will require the usage of some free and easily downloadable tools.
9. You will have to login before you start playing everytime.Once you login,you will automatically be redirected to your current level.
10. The Inventory tab in the ROS homepage will contain links to successfully completed levels and also certain items which you will acquire during the course of the game.
11. Attempting to clear the levels through unfair means (i.e, hacking) will attract disqualification.
12. And finally,note that we differ from Captain Barbosa in saying that these rules are not exactly,what you'd call , "guidelines".These are hard and fast rules.
